Roy Varghese and Associates(RVA) was established in 1993 and has offices in Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Trivandrum.

Roy I Varghese

Managing Partner

Roy I. Varghese is the founder of RVA and the Managing Partner responsible for Consultancy Practice. Roy had worked in industry for 13 years before setting up the firm in 1993. Roy specializes in inbound/outbound investments, strategic financial planning, M & A and cross-border services. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, member of the All India Management Association and a Charter Member of TiE. A frequent speaker at conferences, he has presented professional topics at International Accountants Conferences. Roy is an adviser to several multinational corporations operating in India and an Angel Investor with Kerala Angel Network.

B Rajesh

Senior Partner

B.Rajesh is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, with more than 30 years of experience. He joined RVA as partner, in 1999. Well versed in Corporate Tax and Foreign Exchange Laws, his core competency lies in Auditing and International Taxation. He is currently responsible for the Assurance and Regulatory practice at the Trivandrum Office.

Viju Mathew

Senior Partner

Viju Mathew is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with more than 30 years of experience. Prior to joining RVA as partner in 2000, he has worked in Deloitte and in senior position in Financial Services Industry. He is responsible for Assurance and Regulatory practice at the Cochin office of the firm. Viju is very active in Rotary International.

Gribin Jacob

Partner

Gribin Jacob is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a Diploma in Information systems Audit. He is currently in charge of the Assurance and Regulatory practice at the Chennai office of the firm. Prior to joining RVA as partner in 2007, he served briefly with a large manufacturing group in their internal audit department. Gribin is very active in community services.

Prabhat B K

Partner

Prabhat is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India . Prior to joining as a Partner in 2015, Prabhat was with Tax & Regulatory Service practice of PwC and KPMG at Bangalore and Mumbai. His areas of expertise includes GST, Customs, SEZ, STPI and EOU schemes, and Foreign Trade Policies. Prabhat is responsible for Indirect Tax services of the firm and is in charge of the Bangalore office.

Aravind Vijayakumar

Partner

Aravind Vijayakumar is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined RVA as a partner in 2019. He is currently in charge of the Assurance and Quality Review of the firm. Aravind has a diploma in International Financial Reporting (IFR) held by ACCA.

Subha Deep Roy

Partner

Subha Deep is a Chartered Accountant from the 2010 batch and has been associated with RVA in different capacities for close to a decade before being elevated as a Partner. After a brilliant academic stint, he started his professional career with Ernst & Young before associating with RVA. Subha Deep is in charge of Corporate Assurance and Tax Services in the Chennai office of the firm. His interests include Personal finance, Investing and Data analytics.
